Time flies by...

     It snowed here today... which isn't a huge deal because I stayed inside, but, it means that soon it will be snowing lots, and as hard as I try, I can't hibernate ALL winter. I do try hard though. I really, firmly believe that I haven't migrated far enough south..another 1000 miles (give or take) should do the trick.
     My Uncle Norman and Aunt Virginia were just here this week. It was so nice to see family from home. I never thought that I would feel as homesick as I do. It's really hard to be trapped, and not able to go see my loved ones. I miss everybody up there. I really miss my niece and nephew (they have probably forgotten that I even exist by now). I can only imagine how much they've grown. It's been over a year since I've seen them. Sad.
     Speaking of 'over a year', Justin and I had our anniversary on Sept 3. Time sure flies by. Everyone has told me that the first year of marriage is the toughest, and if that's the case, we should just sail right through life. Seriously, our first year was really great. I can count on one hand the number of arguments we got into.. and they were all my fault. He really is the best husband a girl could ask for. I know that some of you think that yours is the best, but you are mistaken. Sorry to have to be the one to break the news, lol.
     We went to Vegas to celebrate our anniversary, and we had an awesome time. We saw an amazing show at the Bellagio, called "O". It was awesome. It's incredible how strong those people are, and how talented. Much better than when we saw Chris Angel last year...he "levitated" only, the wires that were attached to him were visible from about a mile away. We had a great time, it was nice to get away from home. It's always nice to get back home too.
     Well, that's the latest update in my oh-so-exciting life :)

The Start of Blogging...

So, I've seen many of my friends and family start blogging, and not wanting to feel left out (and also having tons of time on my hands) I decided that all of you should know of my random, ridiculous thoughts.. as I have read yours.
I can't believe that it's been almost a year now since Justin and I got married.. I must apologize to those who I have not properly thanked yet. I promise that it won't be ignored anymore. So much of what made my wedding was from the efforts of my wonderful fam, who traveled long and far to work, just to make my day special. Even though I'm lazy with the thank-you notes, the work did not go unnoticed. Honestly, I feel like a note doesn't do justice to how grateful I am for my family, and their help and effort.
For our 1st anniversary, we're going to return to Vegas... where I plan to get a tan, and my poor hubby will look like the lobster I'm sure we will eat :)

Well, that's all for now... I'm sure once I get better at this blogging thing, my thoughts won't be so boring..but that's for everyone else to decide.
